I have a MVC5 app that has a page containing a WebGrid that contains a SubGrid with a couple of folumns inside it. This has been working quite well. Recently I needed to add a footer to the subgrid in order to display a column total. I have changed
the subGrid.GetHtml() function to subGrid.Table() and after the columns: parameter added a footer: @<table><tfoot><tr><td>test</td></tr></tfoot></table>
The issue that I get is that the footer never displays and using F12 shows that it is not rendered (although I do see the column headers). Does anyone know what else needs to be added to get this to work?

According to your description, I’ve tested your code like below:
webGrid.Column("Format", "Product", style: "_220"),
webGrid.Column("Location", "Location", style: "_60"),
webGrid.Column("MeetingId", style: "_90"),
webGrid.Column("MeetingName", "MeetingName", style: "_90")
And the footer is rendered successfully on my side. So could you please post relative code about your WebGrid for me to help you further?
