I would recommend that after studying entity framework, develop a simple test application using entity framework so that you would learn basic concepts of EF practically. Once you familiar with basic concepts, try developing complex application using EF.
Hope I answered your question.

You can take the DB first tutorial and apply the concepts of EF using DB first to the N-tier solution.
So use the EF concepts you see in the above link and make it work for the below link that's using datasets and datatables removing the datasets and datatbles with using EF as the replacement.
You can use the Value Object or you can call it DtoUser, either way, use auto properties.
Note: That the EF DB First tutorial is using 3.5 and EF is version 6 so there are changes in the way EF entity is updated or deleted, look it up using Bing or Google about how it's done with EF 6.

Hi vinoth paramasivam,
According to your description, I think the EF is a complex framework, so I think you need to get a overall knowledge for a interview. You could get a systematical knowledge in this place:
Entity Framework Tutorial:
Also if you want to get a deep knowledge, I think the Code First, DBContext... is very basic and important. Here are some tutorials about the CRUD operations of DB context, please check:
