There is no content-length in the response so the browser has no idea how much content to expect and is closing the connection which causes the error. Plus you'll want to add the content disposition header.

If it only happened in ie ,I have I idea for it:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" /> //add this code to your _layout.cshtml page view

i dont have _layout.cshtml so i placed in my html page ,its not working

I find a solution ,please have a try .
Do something to ie :
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, uncheck "Do not save encrypted files to disk"
