I hope this is a pretty straightforward issue. I have been working through the WingtipToys sample project focusing on adapting the Identity authentication mechanism into an soon to be migrated project. Things have been going well. But I have stumbled onto
one (I believe simple) issue that I cannot get to the bottom of.
WingtipToys issues a USING statement in each of the pages....
// some code
I have been replicating this in my test project without an issue until I got to the IdentityConfig page which resides in the App_Start folder when using the template to build the project in VS 2013/2015.
On this page intellisense only recognizes the project name reference if it is listed twice....
On every other page so far in my project it is recognized in the expected fashion...
Any ideas on what I am missing here to get this to work correctly? Is this perhaps an Intellisense bug? Yes my project is in VB and not C#.
And the Assembly Name is the same as my project.

Check the project configuration. If I remember you have a default namespace in VB that is used when compiling your code. So if Namespace googleWebauth appears in your code, it is actually googleWebauth.googleWebauth
So in VB either don't include Namespace googleWebauth (your code is already part of this namespace) or change perhaps the project configuration and clear the default namespace and you should be back at the C# style.

I fought this fight before, but I think you cleared my confusion. things appear normal now. Thank you.
