I've been crawling through Google, Bing, etc and cannot find a concrete answer to this question. Can a NoSQL database be used with ASP.NET Web Forms? If so, how does one go about doing this? Has any one of you done this before? I'm aware that MVC can be
mixed with web forms if necessary but I would like to keep everything web forms until I am ready to make that plunge, partly because it is going to be a big undertaking. Also, I am not quite savvy yet with MVC but I would like to be. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you all!

when you say web forms you are talking about the presentation layer of your application
when you say nosql database you are talking about the data layer of your application,
take a look to the repository pattern, it will allow you to abstract your data access layer implementation from the rest of your application, and that is the way it should be.
once you abstract your data access layer, it doesnt matter if its implementation is sql server, nosql, writing the data to the file system of just having the data in memory.
the implementation will depend on the nosql database you chose, it most likely will have c# drivers which you will use to implement the crud operations on your repositories.
here are some drivers for some popular nosql databases:

As I said, this was just a sanity check because no one was really saying for sure whether it could be done, you have said it is possible and what to do to make it work. That's what I needed so Thank you :)
