I am trying to modify the structure of a .dbf. I am pretty sure this is a dBase 3 file. When I try to execute "JetDBConn.Open(), the system displays an error :
'D:\WebSites\Playground\Shapes\JAN_PCI2014.dbf' is not a valid path.
Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are
connected to the server on which the file resides.
The file is there and the path is valid.....
The code I am trying:
+ tbDBFFile.Text '
get path to the .dbf
Source=" & pathString &
Properties=DBASE IV;" &
Deny None;" &
drSchemaElement() As DataRow
i As Integer
dtSchema = JetDBConn.GetSchema("tables")

According to your description, as far as I know, this issue may be relate to the full path, relative path or connection string. Here are someone who meet the similar problem as you:

I solved. I left off the file name then used Jet.OLEDB to establish connection. From there, generate command.CommandText = "SELECT * FROM filename.dbf"
