I was approached by a customer who wants to develop a mobile app for iOS and Android.
The goal of the app is to allow the localization of commercial partners offering services. Each provider must describe the proposed services (photos, description, prices) and may also offer promotions. The end user will be able to consult the list of providers
and it's services, book a service and then rate the provider.
In a first time, the customer would like a first version that is close to a POC: the app must be stable and include all the expected features.
As my customer knows Xamarin, and as I have already used it on small projects, I think that Xamarin.Forms is a good choice for the first version of this app.
But for backend, it's not as clear for my customer: he does not really know what he needs...
I have identified 3 needs:
My client would have a preference for a Symfony / Angular architecture, as he has already used this on other projects. For my part, I would rather use a full .Net architecture: Xamarin + ASP.Net Core + Azure.
What do you think? Are there any plugins or frameworks that I could use for such a project? (like Serinity)

Xamarin is flexible enough to consume any kind of back end services (ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core/PHP/NodeJS), so in your case following the customer's previous solution is not a bad idea. ASP.NET Core can only have its advantage if you do have some code to share
between Xamarin and backend.
