hi, expert, just received a request from marketing department
there is a pdf file to send to different people
and there is information to be filled into pdf . the information is different per guest. for others, it is same to all people
is there any library to use for my case?
take excel as example, that I can create cellname (i.e. placeholder) and just fill in the value to the cell by cellname
thank you very much!

If the information will be filled in form fields that are predefined in the PDF template, it's easy to achieve this task by using a PDF component.
Fill Form Fields in PDF in C#
If you want to do this without form fields, I'd recommend you to create a Word template with placeholders embedded, replace the placeholders with users' data and then save as a PDF file. Here is a link for your reference.

The tool I am using is called Docentric Toolkit. It uses Word docx file to enter information. It seems to me that this is much better solution as pdf forms. You can design templates, if you want. Check the
documentation here: http://www.docentric.com/product/how-to-use
