I have a 30,000 records list of data getting from database using EntityFramework Linq to SQL query, and i have to bind them to asp.net gridview which will be prerenderd to jquery Datatable.
Now how can i improve performance of this by loading it faster.
I tried Task.Run and Async await .. nothing worked out.
Is there any way to load gridview 1st page initially and then load remaining records asynchronously?
Please provide useful suggestions

jQuery DataTable itself would be good enough if you load with Ajax call. Another alternative is to use GridView with (SQL) Server side paging, in that; you will only load the number of records that you require to show per page; by writing logic in SQL Server

if you want to load data for grid view at once , maybe you could use this and it's faster :
