I just started on a web form project that has been underway and working, but I encountered the -- could not load 'ajaxcontroltoolkit, version=184.108.40.206, -- problem upon loading the project on my work station -- windows 7 using VS2015. Another developer
working on the same project (my mentor) has 'supposedly' the same configuration on his workstation as on mine (win7 and using VS2015). The webform app was recently migrated from VS2005 to VS2015. The webform application loads/runs correctly on the other
developler's workstation. He does not recall if he had the same problem after his initial migration to VS2015 (or at least does not recall the fix).
I am checking if anyone else has encountered this problem and came up with a fix, and what that fix is -- for loading ajaxcontroltoolkit version=220.127.116.11.

My mentor got the fix -- my workstation was originally using .net framework 2.0 and now stepped up to .net 4.5 (or 4.6 -- either way) the fix ended up being to reset permission to full control on various folders the app was using in c:\Windows, and in %temp%.
He set the user to imperso (impersonate the user logged in to the workstation). Now the app runs on my workstation. Of course, I have no idea of the history (being I'm new at this place), so I had to rely on the other developer.
