Long lost coder here, now back on the ASP.NET horse and having to catch up is FUN but also difficult
I'm trying to create an IIS server side ASP.NET website that would allow a user to upload a blog/article/text and images and hyperlinks every once in a while, he's currently using a godaddy crapola website builder tool which results in deletion of the page
every few weeks and a frantic midnight call to yours truly to fix it, any pointers on how to tackle this matter would be hugely appreciated.
I appreciate your time and help

What exactly is your question? If you are asking how to build a Blog Web Site then you are in the wrong place. This is a support forum that comes into play when you are in the coding phase of a project and need help. It sounds like you are in the idea
phase of a project.
If you are having trouble getting started then you might want to investigate the technologies you want to use to build the blog; MVC or Web Forms, ADO.NET or Entity Framework, Web Services or No Web Services are a few. You can find a great tutorials on
this site from the learn link above.
Or you can do a Internet search for
asp.net blog tutorial and find sample Blogs that other have build and gleam a few idea there.

You could try blogengine.net. It's an ASP.Net based blog engine.
