I am trying to post a comment here but it is not accepting my credentials. I have tried gmail, hotmail and ASP.NEt user/password but it fails all yhe time.

When you build the application and when you create a new controller, I don't have: Model Calss: Movie (MvcMovie.Models). Instead I have:
Similarly, I don't have:
Data context class: MovieDBContext (MvcMovie.Models).
Instead I have MovieDBContext (MvcMovie.Controllers).

The docs.microsoft.com website is separate from the ASP.NET website, so your ASP.NET username and password will not work there.
The comments on that website are using Microsoft-Open Commenting, and using oAuth for authentication. You will need to create an account for the first time you post. I was able to create an account and post a comment using my Twitter account for authentication.
