I have my IE settings under "Set Language Preferences" set to Hungarian and no other language.
Now in my c# code i do a check in a switch statement and look for the word "SELECTION" , but when i comes back from the browser it is spelt differently , it has dots on top of some letters and hence my condition doesnt get called and no data is bound to
the grid . If i put English in the "Set Language Preferences" and move it up as the first , then it works
.How can i have just the Hungarion and make the words coming in recognise correctly ?

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ydkak5b9(v=vs.71).aspx You are using utf-8 on both requestEncoding and reponseEncoding? To me the value should stay unchanged unless maybe the encoding is not the same when you are writing to and when reading back
from the browser.
Have you tried another browser to see what happens?
