How to find the version of .NET framework installed on the machine.
Suggest the methods other than registry value and add/remove program.

Open Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio and type command "clrver" without quote and it will list all framework(s) installed on machine.

Can i get the file version and corresponding .NET version as like in the below link,
Even i get the details from the link.. It still lacks the detail of some more versions of .NEt framework

Actually, my request is to find the .net version from clr.dll file property. for that I need the corresponding build number and .NET version.

You can right click on the clr.dll -> select Properties -> Click the
Details Tab -> Check the Product Version field.
