From my web site (http://www.jazzsoftware.co.nz/) licensed users can install and run a ClickOnce application. I need to be able to make both production and test versions available, so I did this: -
1. I set up another folder within the web site. Jazz/ already holds the production version, JazzTest/ will hold the test version.
2/ I built the test version and copied it to the JazzTest/ folder. On the web site I put a new link to Test Jazz.
3/ Clicking either "Run Jazz" or "Test Jazz" executes Response.redirect(URLBase & Folder & "Jazz.application?" & QStr)
URLBase is the URL above. With "Run Jazz" Folder is "Jazz/", with "Test Jazz" Folder is "Jazztest/". QStr is a query string.
4/ The site contents seem correct: folder Jazz/ contains build 13.7.141 while JazzTest/ contains build 14.1.151, all files have the timestamps that I'd expect.
When I click Run Jazz the production version runs (correct), but when I click Test Jazz it is the production version, not the test version, that runs.
What have I missed, or don't understand?
Thank you, Robert.

I built the test version and copied it to the JazzTest/ folder.
You can try this option (the one that might seem to make the most sense) is to use MageUI.exe to manually build the ClickOnce files, which would let you choose a different configuration file and publish location each time you ran the tool. See https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/xc3tc5xx.aspx.
