I created WCF service which is used to archive/post documents to OnBase. OnBase is document repository third party tool.
I deployed the service in Windows 2008 Server and able to consume service from different client applications. It was running from past few days, but in between some times getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" exception when consuming
service methods like proxy.connect() in client application. If one client application started this issue and it's happening in all client applications at same time. If we restart client applications or after some time, it is working fine for the same documents.
I don't know why the proxy is giving that exception.
I will appreciate your help on this.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object
You get a null return value from a method, and then call a method on the returned type. This sometimes is the result of a documentation error, the documentation fails to note that a method call can return null. To address this problem, test the method's
return value to ensure that it is not null before calling any of its members.
