I'm working on a webAPI that also runs SignalR in which all my clients will connect to in order to receive updates. A third party sends POSTs to the API which in turn get processed then sent out to a specific client subscribed to the SignalR hub.
My issue is I'm about to put this API up onto an AWS EC2 instance, and I plan to allow it to scale out, probably starting at 3 instances. How can make sure that clients/users subscribing to my signalR hub are handled properly across instances?
This is what I imagine is going to happen currently
I've read that you can store the current user list in a MSSQL (I use MySQL, not sure if its compatible) instead of in memory per-server, but that still doesn't allow me to properly send the data off to a different instance.
