On my web portal, we use .mp4 videos heavily.
On occasion, we'll have .mov or .m4v vidoes. However, we would convert them (if they are not h.264 codecs) or simply change the extension. It's a very tedious task and none of the online video player that I've found (JWPlayer, VideoJS, or Projekktor - essentially,
HTML5 driven player and not flash based player) are capable of playing .m4v even if they are of the same h.264 codec.
Out of options (unless there is one out there that I'm unaware of) is there a way to upload and convert any .mov or .m4v videos into .mp4 on server without having to manually do so via a video converter or changing extension name on the desktop? Much like
the way Vimeo or YouTube are able to upload and convert to their liking..
What sort of options do we have for ASP.NET in this area? Many thanks in advance!!
