Like the subject says, I get this exception in spite of the fact that I am successfully stepping through the code that initializes the functional class, subsequent enumerated members, and so on.
When I get to the subsequent check whether Color !== undefined, that somehow yields a ReferenceError. Which is "confirmed" by subsequent usage of Chrome console,
"Color", does the same.

I think I see what's going on. Since I am establishing Color in the scope of a function, when the function leaves, so too does the reference.
