Hey guys, me and a couple of friends played around with the idea to build a web based game that uses the browser as a "gameboard" and smartphones as "controllers".
We decided to use SignalR to handle the communication and it seems to work great! Our first idea was to of build a series of mini-games based on using GIFs. We had alpha release on
our first mini game.
What do you guys think about using SignalR in this context?
If you wanna test the game its up on http://www.thegifgame.com :)

As we know, using ASP.NET SignalR is a good choice for making develop real-time web functionality, and we could do communication between SignalR server and different clients(web client and mobile client).
Besides, you could read this article that describes how to improve performance in a SignalR application.
