I have made a TreeView for a hierarchical structure, the departments and organizational units of an organization.
The user should be able to add, edit and delete a unit. But I noticed that you cannot "select" a node in the tree. Since it's a web application, you also cannot use a reliable context menu which would be accessible with a right mouse click.
Then, how can you implement an operation that lets the user add a new node as a subnode to an existing one?

You would need to populate your Treeview from a database, or other data source and provide the user CRUD access to such database via some GUI.

You could try to use some jQuery contextMenu plugins that enable us trigger contextMenu with right-click event, then you could show CRUD commands in contextMenu and do CRUD in modal popup while you select a command.
