Hi! I am using SQL Server 2012 with Report Builder 3.0. I have created a report in which i have used one sub report. As indicated by the arrows in the image those 3 cells are merged and one sub report is placed their. Now when report is generated,
it creates extra spaces in parent report.
Reference Image :
Sub report details >>>
Orientation : landscape
Width : 16.9cm
Height : 1.7 cm
Margin : 0px from all sides.
Body properties of subreport ::::
Size: 168.0798mm, 16.84792mm
ConsumeContainerSpace : true

You’d better first make sure the subreport report body size and tablix with the same size. Then, you could make the table, background of your sub report
and parent report have the different color, so that you could find out where create the blank easily.

Hi Wehbo Zang,
I have act accordingly as you stated.
For further reference please see these images.
After setting the sub report bg to yellow and then generating the report it seems like this :
Report Details >
Interactive Size: 16.84792mm, 168.0798mm
Margins: 0cm, 0cm, 0cm, 0cm
Page Size: 16.84792mm, 168.0798mm

Just setting cangrow and canshrink to false solved my problem inside sub report fields.
