using Wim Sturkenboom as a random example:
let's pretend i'm looking at http://forums.asp.net/post/5983369.aspx
i click wim sturkenb... and arrive here: http://forums.asp.net/members/wim%20sturkenboom.aspx
under Community Recognition i see
Has 3043 points and achieved the Contributor level
Hall of Fame
if i click the Hall of Fame link, i'm taken not to wim sturkenboom but to the first page of the Hall of Fame:
mbanavige SGWellens tmorton et
Let's pretend i use the numbers at the bottom of the first Hall of Fame page:
« PREV 1 2 3 4 5 ... 3612 NEXT »
i click 5 which gets me to the page with Mamba Dai - MSFT ... i click the Mamba Dai - MSFT which takes
next, i click back ... that takes me not back to page 5; instead it takes me to the first Hall of Fame page.
Here is the problem, regardless the
Hall of Fame page one is visiting, the URL is always http://www.asp.net/community/recognition/hall-of-fame
forums.asp.net is a showcase for Microsoft's web technology and for the community that uses and voluntarily supports it.
This Hall of Fame behaviour is a poor design that frustrates me and makes Neudesic and Microsoft look less than 100% competent.
(a) improve page forward and back navigation within the Hall of Fame
(b) allow forums.asp.net members to go directly to the Hall of Fame page via the link on each member's profile page.
(c) have a "search by member" on the Hall of Fame section of the forums.asp.net community website so that one can simply and easily find any member, be it herself/himself or some other member.

We've had this on the backlog for a while. I've now nudged it up in priority and we will try to address this in the next couple of months.

@tmorton glad to hear you're nudging it up ... imho it would increase the user-friendly warm and fuzzy value of forums.asp.net to our community.
(A) add some filters here:
Mikesdotnetting 123490 (125130 - 1640)
Rion Williams 102940 (106290 - 3350)
ignatandrei 93830 (94830 - 1000)
MetalAsp.Net 80090 (80760 - 670)
XIII 64690 (65150 - 460)
mbanavige 48740 (48800 - 60)
oned_gk 48610 (50400 - 1790)
SGWellens 46400 (46410 - 10)
limno 43800 (44030 - 230)
rtpHarry 39380 (39410 - 30)
Naom 21830 (21840 - 10)
tmorton 14190 (14360 - 170)
Keep the filtering simple, radio controls instead of checkbox controls to enable data warehousing
(B) add these columns
average net answer points per year since date joined
date joined -- not time, only date
date last active -- not time, only date
N.B.: The statistical columns and the filter columns do not need to be updated in real time
(C) allow the end-user to choose the number of rows per page
15 25 50 100
