I'm a newbie so my understanding is limited, although improving as I keep practicing... I have a question on OnTextChanged event of a Textbox.
The setup: I create a textbox and set AutoPostBack="true" and have a code for OnTextChanged. When I run the page and enter something into the textbox, I can see that the code inside OnTextChanged indeed runs. Good....
My question: Next, I disable the textbox (so I can't directly type in it). And I assign the Text property of the textbox through a DropdownList choice (or for that matter, through an action from another control). But for this example, I have a DropdownList,
and the Value I choose from this dropdown gets assigned to the Text property of the textbox. When the textbox Text changes this way, I am noticing that the OnTextChanged event does not fire.
I hope you were able to follow. Does this make sense and is it possible for the textbox's OnTextChanged to fire when the Text is set by another control?
