FYI: I never got around to use (from what I understand) the built-in dependency injection capabilities of MVC 5.
My MVC project was version 4, updated it via the package manager console to 5.2.3. All good
Want to implement DI, but before going with Structuremap, I figured let me check out this built-in DI capabilities.
(reason is using nuget packages is troublesome on this project for other reasons, and trying to limit the amount of "3rd party" packages I usually use)
However, seems all IServiceCollection which seems to be part of vNext / Asp.Net 5 (thus "mvc6") ? Not sure what I am missing.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Mike. I misunderstood then (Frankly did not pay much attention in the upgrades of 3/4/5)
StructureMap it is then. Hmmm...or try something I did not before (ninject perhaps? :-) )
