I am running SQL Server 2008 R2. I want to insert records into a table daily. Not a bulk insert, just a few rows. Something like:
insert into tasks values(
'Daily Cleaning','Tech',convert(varchar(10),getdate(),101)+ ' 17:00',0,
null,null,convert(varchar(10),getdate(),101)+ ' 16:30', convert(varchar(10),getdate(),101)+ ' 17:00', null, null, null, null);
Do I use an SSIS package or is there another way to do it? In 2000 I used DTS and scheduled it to run nightly.

The SSIS is the newer replacement of DTS. You can migrate or recreate your SSIS package from the way you did in your DTS package and setup a schedule for a job to run your new package.
