There is absolutely no issue with code. I tried following and it is taking applied width and height.
<iframe style="margin-left:20px; margin-top:20px; background-color:transparent;" height="50" width="50" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XGSy3_Czz8k?autoplay=1"></iframe>
There might a chance that some css overriding your applied width and height. You can verify that in developer tool of ff and chrome. Press F12 and inspect element in developer tool.

I'm wondering why you make use of the iframe element instead of the video element.
Take a look at
http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/video/basics/ to get to know the element.
Either way: you can check with the F12 tools, or right click on the element or surrounding and choose Inspect element, to see which CSS styles are applied that you aren't aware off.

Firstly, YouTube player API lets us embed a YouTube video player on our website using <iframe>, and we could use the width and height attributes to specify the dimension of the player.
Secondly, as XIII said, you could try to use HTML5 Video to show videos on web page.
