I have a few questions regarding ASP.Net Sessions and Client requests. How does ASP.Net uniquely identify each request coming from a client since HTTP is stateless. Also can sessions be created without forcing the user to log in? If yes how would the sessions
be differentiated? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

If sessions are enabled for the application, a new one is started for every visitor.
Sessions are identified by a unique identifier which is stored in a cookie. - unless cookieless sessions have been configured. Sessions and authentication are not related at all.
