In visual studio 2008, whenever I try to do a release build, it keeps trying to install vs2005 Premier Partner Edition, it has only recently started doing this.. As far as I know, I've not installed vs2005 except as part of MS SQL Server 2005.. but why
would a web build be looking for the vs2005 installer ?

Requirements for deploying your VSPackage in the Visual Studio Premier Partner Edition (PPE) help developers to create functioning installation packages for customers. A deployment in PPE requires that you write a Microsoft Installer (MSI) package for your
application. Besides installing the required components, your installer lets you show your own installation user interface (UI), gather user options, present your end-user license agreement (EULA), and perform other installation tasks.

Ok, thanks, but that doesn't tell me why it's prompting for it now after years of working just fine.
the vs2005 Premier Partner Edition is installed, but I don't have a specific disk for it, as I said, it must have been installed as part of something else.
How can I correct the problem?
