How do I access the .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration panel in Windows 10?
I was able to access it in the Control Panel in previous versions of Windows, but am unable to in Windows 10. I need to access it so I can modify security settings in it so a customized Excel VB program can run.
I previously tried to install the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK on 2 different Windows 10 PCs (clean Win 10 installs), but the configuration panel still didn't show in the "Administrative Tools" section of the "Control Panel". I did notice that on a PC that already
had the .NET Framework 2.0 installed, but was upgraded to Windows 10, the configuration panel did still show itself in the "Administrative Tools" section of the "Control Panel" after the upgrade.

It is possible .NET 2.0 may not be registered with IIS which is why you cannot get to it. Check out this thread, it is worth a shot if nothing else:

Thanks, I tried their suggestions registering .NET 2.0 with IIS, but I still didn't see the .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration panel in Windows 10 (in the "Administrative Tools" section of the "Control Panel", as I was able to in previous versions of Windows).
Is there a way we can elevate this question to someone at Microsoft to confirm that the .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration panel in Windows 10 is no longer available?

Unless one of us works for Microsoft as a software engineer, I do not think we can do any escalations. What you can do is go onto the Microsoft .NET web site and you should be able to give feedback and request confirmation. The Neudistic team does watch
these forums so they may be able to provide some insight, though I have no lead time on that.
