I have a website http://www.paperpk4u.com in PHP/Mysql and i want to add ASP.NET/MSSQL Server base module for some more advanced level features.
Please let me know is it possible to run both ASP.NET/MSSQL Server and PHP/Mysql side by side and what are the steps to do this?

Do you know the web server your application is running on?
ASP.NET/MSSQL is running on windows IIS server. You can set your new features to run with ASP.NET and use links to hook them in your application but they are two different web applications.

Depends in your web server for .NET + PHP - Windows with IIS absolutely will run together (IIS App Pool may require x32 mode)
http://php.net/manual/en/install.windows.php . You might be able to use mono on apache if you are doing a non windows server.
MS SQL and MySQL https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/ (pick windows) can coexist on windows servers, MS SQL can't be installed on non-windows systems. I've installed both side by side on numerous dev
boxes and a few shoe-string prod boxes.

If you need both PHP/MYSQL and ASP/MSSQL on the same server, you have to choose Windows server.

Web hosting is PHP/Mysql , but they are also providing Window hosting for ASP.NET/MSSQL.

You cannot add asp.net function to a php website as one whole thing. They are different web technology. Rewrite these advanced functions with php to incorporated into your current application. Or start a ASP.NET project to write the whole thing. You can
use both in one website with different links but they are different projects and the communication between the two needs special handling, which you need advanced knowledge and skills.
