Can someone please point me in the right direction...
I need to display a calendar like format for a work scheduling web app. The first row should display days of the week, the first column should display employee names and the body of the table should show which job the person is allocated to on that day.
The underlying SQL Server table is simple and has the following columns...
entryID - unique identifier for the calendar entry
entryUsr - user ID from the employees table
entryJob - job ID from the jobs table
entryDate - date
I would like to know which control would be the best to use to display this data given that I need the first row and column to be databound rather than just being headers? Or have I gone about this all the wrong way?

article might give you the answers you need.
Hope this helps.

Generally speaking, calendar control doesn't have this information. But You could create a div and display it on the top of the calendar, you could add the custom information into the div. We have used the following calendar for things like this in the past.
I hope it's helpful to you.

I've used the Telerik scheduler control, with quite a bit of customization, for exactly that.
