Are there any more updates on creating a blog on weblogs.asp.net?
Its been a very long while for any updates on this?

Once you have 751 Community Recognition points, you can submit a request through the site's Contact form.

No thats not the answer. The contact form has 7 options and there is nothing specific to click on for my request. In which one of them goes back to here.

AH - You are correct. I had a google about and it looks as though they have discontinued this sometime ago, and I cannot find any news about it re-opening up. Sorry.

I can't seem to find any updates in 'What's New" section about accepting new bloggers. It seems like there are lots of more high priority tasks that they are working on than moving to a new blogging platform that's why they are not able to work on accepting
PS: This is just my assumption so I could still be wrong. Just keep an eye in the "What's New" section for future updates.

We do expect to be adding new bloggers in December. At that time you can submit a request using the ASP.NET Site Operations Help link on the Contact page at http://www.asp.net/contact-us.
