Please help! I've been struggling with this for over a month now and I'm unable to complete any web projects. I got a new machine and installed Visual Studio 2015 Community edition. It installed fine EXCEPT it failed to install Microsoft ASP.NET and Web
I've tried repeatedly modifying VS 2015 to install "Web Tools For Developers" all from my browser, IE, Platform Installer and I downloaded the Visual Studio 2015 Community ISO file, mounted it and tried to modify it form that; none of these worked!
I even upgraded to .NET Framework 4.5.2, still did nothing. VS opens up and loads every project except for asp.net projects. Nor, can I create one. I don't know what else to do.
I'm using Windows 8 on a Quad-Core Dell Inspiron Laptop. My processor is an AMD A8-5545M APU and I have 8G of RAM (7.19 usable). It seems like VS just disagrees with my machine, but it's specs are all above par for this install.
Any advice or past experiences would be helpful!
P.S. I have a log file from one of the botched installs available if anyone would like to view it!

Is Visual Studio 2015 usable?
Nov 01, 2015 09:06 PM|Angie xu - MSFT|LINK
If your Visual Studio 2015 is usable, it's recommended to repair your VS 2015 first, and download and install
Microsoft ASP.NET and Web Tools 2015 (Beta6) – Visual Studio 2015 again, and check it can fix it.
If Visual Studio 2015 is not usable, you can uninstall VS2015, and reinstall VS2015 again.
