Hello guys, i need your help regarding this issue.
In the GUI i have a file upload & a button control which accepts XML file from the user. That XML is read into DataSet and i loop through this dataset to BulkUpdate the SQL tables. So i need to send each DataTable to single stored procedure where i will
update/insert the records to particular sql tables. (Like shown in this
but i don't want to declare user defined table type in Stored procedure parameter. instead i want to pass a table and with in stored procedure i will decide which sql table to update.
Any help is appreciated.

You can fill data in a xml format and send it as parameter to stored procedure .

Table-Valued Parameters are designed for this type of operation. Before the VP was introduced, you have to manipulate it with string operations.

You can pass the XML and then based on the schema you can convert it to the TABLE.
You can declare the @Table Type Variable and then insert it XML data into it to perform the operations. (if you want to make your Store Procedure Generic for all table types.)
