I am increasingly unable to go to My threads - even from within sub forums. This means I cannot follow up on questions about replies I have posted. Is there any progress on optimising the related database queries?

Are you still encountering this issue Mike?
I've noticed a significantly slow-down in the site today (and some of yesterday), but it seems that just about every operation takes quite a bit more time than usual. I am still able to access the My Threads section though.

We'll look at the performance slow-down today. Further optimizations for My Threads is a high priority, but don't yet have an ETA.

Yes. I understand that the reason I am having issues is that I have a huge number of threads where I have participated. That puts a strain on the database when the site is busy and I guess the operation times out. Terri has previously said that they were
looking at improving the perf in that area and I wanted to know if that work is still being done or was considered complete.

It's definitely not considered to be complete. If you go to individual forums and click on My Threads, you should find that comes back with data somewhat quickly. That's not a solution, but something of a workaround.

Strike that, that's not currently the case. :-(

The My Threads link in the Shortcuts box does not return all of my threads. Have to work around this by going to the My Threads link in the Signed in dropdown list.
Has there been any progress on this?

If you are in a sub forum, the My Threads links leads you to just your threads in that forum. If you want to see all of your threads, you can go to the My Threads link on the
Forums main page, or use the dropdown that you have already discovered.

To circle back to this thread, our
move to SQL Azure on November 21 has alleviated/eliminated this issue. The move involved the creation of some new indexes which has allowed the query to perform better. If you are still seeing performance issues with My Threads, please let me know.
