I have a requirement like this
I have different survey agencies for different cities and few of survey details (8 to 10 fields) data
are saved in different file formats like txt, excel, csv, xml, json, html etc in a tabular format with out headings
After that , i have to get the data from these files and save each row/line in the database.
Next i will process these data for reporting purpose.
Can any one suggest the design pattern for the above requirement.
At present i am using repository pattern + Entity Framework + Unit of Work pattern
My idea is to adapt Adapter pattern for this requirement, because we have different adapters in ADO.NET like
to connect to different data sources and use the same commands to fetch the data.
Please suggest me on this

ADO.NET uses "just" abstract classes rather than the
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adapter_pattern (or you meant "provider"?)
Not sure how many survey agencies you'll have but to me the problem will be more likely to agree and stick to a well defined format. Especialy be very carefull if using unamed columns and expect to find them always at the same place ;-) !
