Just a general question about web.config. Now that I'm nearing the end of program development I've noticed several connection strings in web.config that are no longer used. Is it good practice to clean web.config and remove the no longer used strings or
is there no harm in letting them just sit and occupy space?

Yes of course, it is always good to clean up, so as to minimize security breach issues. Also, you can create multiple configs, config.qa, .stage and .prod, so that you can only move the required configs to different environments.

Thanks for your response; I thought that would be the best approach but just wanted to hear it from someone else.
