I'm using Visual Web Developer 2010 Express with SQL Server 2008 Express, VB.
I would like to know if anyone has successfully implemented an elapsed time display within an UpdateProgress ProgressTemplate? Is this even possible? The experiments I've run have all ended in failure.
My code as it stands now (without elapsed time display):
<br /><asp:UpdateProgress ID="UpdateProgress1" runat="server" DisplayAfter="0" AssociatedUpdatePanelID="UpdatePanel1">
style="border-width: 1px; border-style: double; background-color: #FFFFFF; font-weight: bold; left: 572px; height: 29px;">
Transfer to MS-Access in process...
<asp:Image id="CapWait" runat="server" ImageUrl="~/Images/progress.gif"/>
(This may take several minutes to complete!)

This article explained how to dynamically display a Progress Bar, hoping it will be helpful.

Hi Fei Han,
Not exactly what I was looking for but still a lot for me to review. I'll leave this open while I give it an in-depth analysis.
