I'm using Federation to authenticate users but I have a folder that should allow Anonymous users.
I want that the users been called to authenticated when they switch from page that allow anonymous to pages that require Authentication.
I found the WSFederationAuthenticationModule.FederatedSignOut() method that can logout user
Is there the same for login ?

Thank you for your post, according to your description, I think you could use FederatedPassiveSignIn control to fix it.
FederatedPassiveSignIn control. When an unauthenticated user tries to access a protected resource, they are redirected to a logon page in the application. This logon page has the
FederatedPassiveSignIn control embedded in it and the control is configured with issuer (STS) information. If you do not require application-wide protection and instead require a logon page in the application and you expect the users to click the control
(for example, in a financial institution online site with a login page), then this is the right approach.

thanks for your answer
in my current solution the logon page is provided by the ADFS server.
So I'm was thinking of just a redirect to the ADFS server.
when I do that I get the logon prompt but i'm then not redirected to the correct page (the one that need restriction access) but on the adsf url that I use in the redirect (https://adfs-issuer.com/adfs/ls/)
