I need to run a script in my database and make sure that everything keeps working exactly as before. The team that have developed the source code didn't create any unit tests, so I need a way to explore the API, run at least some methods and compare the
results from two databases (one without the script modifications and the other with the changes).
Is there an "easy" way to do this?

You can create a copy of your database and then run the script on that. Then change the database connection string to point to test database. Now whatever method you want to compare just use fiddler to run the test on both original and test db by changing
connection string one by one to see if it breaks or not. or better create another version of your web api project which point to the test db and you can run both webapi parallel and check both results at same time.
