I read tutorials about "push notifications" where user should click button to see notification etc.
But in my case I have table in the database - "NotificationObject" with columns "NotificationUserId", "NotificationDate", "NotificationContent".
When user logged into the website, surfs different pages and certain time (NotificationDate in my table) is coming - system should display popup notification to that user.
How can I resolve this issue with SignalR? Or this library isn't good for this kind of task? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your post .
According to your description ,i suggest you could use SQL Dependency with SignalR .SQL dependency is a class provided by the .NET Framework that is built on the service broker infrastructure which allows application to be notified when a data has changed
in the database (Microsoft SQL Server). Microsoft SQL Server allows .NET Framework applications to send a command (SQL Command) to SQL Server and request notification if executing the command would produce a different result.
