Please i want to include signalr in my asp.net website, i was required to save it as an application, so i did that, but my challenge is after adding the startup class, and i try to launch the default page, it will complain that no assembly loaded.
When i wanted to add signalr to the website, i had to use visual studio 2013, but the website was initially developed using visual studio 2008, i also had to change the web.config to target 4.5 framework. But i still get the same error. I added Startup class,
still no resolution. I used Nuget to include the signalr i.e the lastest version
Please what are the steps in getting it to work on my website for a chat inclusion.

Please try to use Visual Studio 2012 or above as they can target framework 4.5. for SignalR.
As far as I know you cant target 4.5 In visual studio 2008:
As per Requirements SignalR 2 is only supported on .NET Famework 4.5.
Hoper this helps.

I also looked at the video of Jon Galloway and Brady Gaster and they actually show how you can upgrade your existing web platform to use signalr.
Thanks very much for your help, i'm very grateful.
