I recently deployed an MVC app onto an iis server platform. it runs ok. I can change the View contents, eg. Create or Edit can be modified on the fly. But then the hope is to modify the labels that go over the controls.
I modify the class variables that have [Display(Name= "...
then when the project restarts on visual studio the changes are instantly there on the website. But on the server no. The web site been restarted 2 times already and the changes are not showing up on the page. Is there something additional that has to
be done to propagate changes to the Model class file?

If you change anything to your model class and you are using Entity Framework migration, then you need to migrate your changes to the database, otherwise it won't work.
Maybe this is the reason for the restarts of your site.
Hope this will help.

After changing the Model class what files did you copy to the server? If they are in the same project as your site the entire DLL for you site need to be replaced on the server. If they are in a separate project that is referenced by your site project
you need to rebuild the solution and then copy the DLL for your model project to the server.

I copied just the applicable folder, the model class.cs file. But after reading this Im going to copy the entire folder and see what happens
