Is this possible?
I have installed VS2013 Express for Web and SSDT Buisiness Intelligence tools (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42313). However the Business Intelligence
projects do not appear in the list of available projects.

It might be because those are just the BI project templates. Do you have SSDT installed?

You can install SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013 as a standalone business intelligence authoring environment or side-by-side with an existing SQL Server Data Tools installed with SQL Server.
If you already have Visual Studio 2013 or SQL Server Data Tools installed, running SQL Server Setup to install SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013 will not overwrite your existing Visual Studio 2013 installation or SQL Server
Data Tools installation. Setup will install only the additional business intelligence feature tools and project templates.
SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013 is available online as a download package:
