I have a tricky problem: i made an empty website in visual studio 2013 express for web with Visual Basic. Then i downloaded
a website template and pasted it into de folder directory. Then i copied and pasted the text from index.html into the Masterpage and i had a crappy designview. But if i debugged it it showed up perfekt. Yess i was excited and tried to change words in the source
file, which changed, but the debug-view and the website itself as i published it showed up as the design as i downloaded it. So how to change it?
Thx very much

It's important to remember that ASPX pages are going to be slightly different than pure HTML pages and so you'll have to ensure that you are placing all of your relevant HTML and CSS references in their proper locations within the Master Page to ensure that
they are found and can be used as expected.
If you find that it is not appearing properly, I would recommend using the Developer Tools (F12) within your browser and checking out the Console section to see if any errors are present (such as 404 errors that might indicate that your CSS or other references
were not found).
Did that answer your question? Or were you wondering how to specifically edit your existing template? If that is the case, you would just need to open up your Master Page or any of the child pages you have and adjust the HTML content (ensuring that you save
any changes that you make afterwards). After making any changes, it's important to remember to always clear your browser's cache to ensure that your old content isn't being loaded.
