I am migrating one Backoffice and a WCF service to the cloud.
To take full benefit of the cloud service and still have a compact and secure service I would like to share my Backoffice auth cookie (ASP.NET MVC 4 Using Identity) with my WCF Service.
I can enum some of the problems I may face during this implementation:
Is there any way to apply this kind of approach with minimal impact in implementation time? Is that even possible? If not do you have some kind of suggestion to authenticate the calls from my BO in the WCF Service?
Thanks in advance

In my opinion, there is no difference between command IIS and Cloud. We also can share the cookies between them.
We can use form authentication which by default allows to share the same cookie across sites under the same domain using the same configuration key using the <machineKey> element. And about cross domain, there has to be some "workaround" or some implementation
model that lets these two sites to access a single cookie via some "indirect" mechanism.
