On repeated occasions I have had problems getting new threads or replies to existing threads to post. I click the post button and the little circle on the tab spins and spins and spins for about five minutes then I get a network Error page reporting that
there is a problem with the server of the site I am trying to reach. Since I don't know if this post is stuck in limbo or is just lost, I end up either repeatedly entering the post and many times ending up with duplicates, or waiting for it to show up and
it never does.
This happens quite often such that I have had to begin not entering or replying to posts until well after working hours which causes a delay in my attempting to implement the response. This results in many of the people I was working with to abandon the
thread because they think I've lost interest.
I wish that the issue could be cleared up

We are unaware of any continuing problems with the ASP.NET website happening during business hours in the Eastern time zone.
I've looked through the error logs for the past 2 weeks and do not see your username or any significant issues. Reviewing our monitor logs, we did have 1 brief outage on April 2 at 9:55 PM Eastern (5 minute service interruption). Prior to April 2, our last
known site outages were on March 25 (1 minute), March 14 (3 minutes), and March 4 (1 minute).
The next time you see this happen, can you please let us know the exact error message? Also, a screenshot of the error would be great. I suspect there is a connectivity issue between your work site and the ASP.NET website.

The error message is exactly as I describe. Our network will display this "Network Error" page, with the statement that it could not connect to the server. It doesn't provide any error codes or anything.

Unfortunately this problem seems to be outside of our control, as the error seems to happen on your end even before the request reaches our servers.

This has not happened since June.
When it was happening there was no problem pulling up the page only with the post. Also no other forums both MS and other experienced this; only
I do not understand why our network would discriminate against the

when you use a tool like the network tab in the F12 tools of your browser or Fiddler, what do you get to see? Is there a succesful transmission? Also it might be of interest to ask the IT department for network settings / firewall / blacklisted pages / ...
I once worked at a client where they blocked asp.net and stackoverflow as well and we had to go through some lengths to have it opened.

Sorry, I have been incommunicado for a time. The enterprise for which I work decided to block all access to forums.asp.net for at least the last 8 months, so I was not able to get to my pending threads. Now it is unblocked so I am trying to answer everything
before it gets blocked again.
So it is possible that enterprise was experimenting with the later implemented block.
