I am working on a Web applicaiton and struggling with large amount of signalr data pushed to client end. I'd like an official answer about the SignalR compression. Our Web Application hosted in IIS which frequently sends large data in JSON format to client.
Roughly SignalR sends 6 to 8 JSON data per minute to client, each JSON data is about 3k to 15K. The SignalR is mostly using WebSocket. I want to know if the SignalR infrastructure provides compression mechanism.
I have checked some posts about implementing compression, such as
http://forums.asp.net/t/2027112.aspx?Turning+on+automatic+compression+in+IIS+doesn+t+compress+signalR+responses. And checked the websocket compression solution, find posts like

Thanks for your post.
SignalR.Compression could be used on any ASP.NET SignalR application to speed the process of sending data over the wire. For more information, please refer to this link.
