I want to use signal R in order to build a notification system similar to that of Facebook. everything similar the red circle and everything. So i looked up for signal R in details, all demos are about live chats. None are about sending notifications for
a specific user. though lots of topics says "sending for specific users", and" notification system like Facebook using signal R"
but I'm not finding any topic that serves my issue. Please can someone help in that? I have been looking for days.
any good topic or any good example that serves my case
Thank you in advance

You should be able to check out the BasicChat sample available within the SignalR code to point you in the right direction as well. It would be a great stepping stone to enable a Facebook
style private chat (you would just need to essentially "group" users into private 1-1 groups and each of their messages would only be broadcast to one another).
I'll throw out a few different options that relate to handling chat-based options within ASP.NET that might help point you in the right direction :
As you can see there are tons of chat-specific components available out there for .NET, I would just recommend reviewing over them and finding one that best suits your needs.
The SignalR Mapping Users to Connections and SignalR Working with Groups
Tutorial might be an excellent place to start for this. You will use the appropriate connectionId(s) to identify which user or group of users to handle sending your data to. So if you wanted to send to just a specific user (e.g. in a Private Chat scenario),
you might use something like this :

Thanks alot but I specifically don't want chat samples there are tons of them online. I want a push notification system similar to that of facebook notifying users that someone tagged for example and so on using sqldependency with the .Net framework

For your requirement ,i suggest that you could use Signalr with SqlDependency.
Once you have insert one record into your database,it will refresh the page .
